I've handed it in!

FINALLY after working on it since last june, i've finished my dissertation. 14,000 words of pure boredom awaits the marker! Actually it's not that bad, I tried to make it as interesting as I could, but then, how can one really make biochemistry interesting? (sorry if i'm offending avid biochemistry fans here).

Last night I organised a massive social for my year to celebrate the end of exams. It went down really well, lots of people came and we all had a really awesome time. After spending a few hours in a nice bar we went off to a local club where a bunch of doctors were having a bit of a party. Medical students love doctors since they have lots of money to buy us all drinks!

I have a week off now before I start my next module. It's called treatment and prevention of infection, and it's basically all about how antibiotics work. It should be really interesting but it's really hardcore, 2 weeks of lectures with a big exam at the end. Still only a month until we start the clinical course i cant wait!

I found out today i've been posted out to Mansfield for my 14 week clinical attachment this year. Mansfield is a cool place i'm sure (i've never been though so I may be wrong) but it's a bit of a trek to get to each day from nottingham. For a 8am ward round ill have to get up at 6 to get there on time!

So i guess i wont be on time much this year then....
