The end of term!
This term has gone way to fast! It seems like only yesterday I was settling down to revise for Jan exams..and now im beginning to see May exams on the horizon!!(but the less said about those the better!). Terms at uni go so fast, simply because they're abosolutely packed full of things to do! I can honestly say i havn't sat down and watched TV for months! In the last few weeks of term the main things going on have been the medic's play i was in (Midsummer Night's Dream) and also the Medsoc elections for next years committee! The play went really well, and the aftershow party was AWESOME! (thats the only word that comes close to describing it!). The Medsoc elections are really fun, posters pop up advertising everyones campaigns, absolutely covering any other posters in their path! Since Medsoc has such a fundamental role in the lives of most medical students it's really important to get a good committee elected, so if you wanna be on the committee you really have to know your stuff!
I feel a bit sad to be back at home now! Life her is certainly more laid back. Well, it would be hard to be more intense and full than at uni i guess! I have a whole month off, but even though thats a long time i definitely need it so I can get some work done. Having such a mental social calender at uni has meant work has slipped a bit, but no worry, im sure (i hope) it can be sorted with a bit of work over Easter!. 1st and 2nd years get super long holidays, similar to students on any course. Once you hit 3rd year though, your holidays gets cut massively! So, its very important to take full advantage of your holidays and do loads of cool stuff! (and also tease stressed out 3rd years about their 1 week summer holiday!!!). Anyway, I think im going to go and watch TV for the first time in months....i wounder if ill still enjoy it???
